But what about the extra vehicle bumps and bruises beyond normal wear and tear? Ford Credit now offers WearCare to protect against the unexpected.

Ford Credit's optional WearCare program can save you up to $3,500 in excess wear and tear charges. These charges, subject to exclusions, could result from:

• Damaged Windshields
• Parking lot dents
• Minor scratches
• Cigarette burn holes
• Carpet stains
• Stone chips
• Tire wear
• Or any other damage that exceeds Ford Credit's standards for normal wear and tear and is not covered by your insurance company.

Peace of Mind lets you lease a new vehicle through Ford Credit without concern about leaving your family to deal with unwanted obligations.

In the event of the lessee's death before the lease terms are satisfied, Peace of Mind allows the return of the vehicle to Ford Credit. Any surplus derived form the wholesale sale of the vehicle will be refunded to the co-lessee of the estate.

If you pass away before your lease obligation is fulfilled, your eligible co-buyer, co-lessee, estate or spouse may receive Peace of Mind benefits. Peace of Mind is available at no extra charge to customers who are at least 62 years of age when they lease a new vehicle through Ford Credit. To be eligible for Peace of Mind, co-buyers and co-lessees must also be age 62 or older. The spouse of a qualified customer is not required to have reached 62 years of age.

If your vehicle is stolen or damaged beyond repair during the term of your lease, Ford Credit may waive the difference - or gap - between your insurance payoff amount and the lease payoff. With Red Carpet Lease Gap Protection, you are only responsible for the insurance deductible, any lease payments which are due prior to the accident and all other amounts due and owing under the lease. Unlike other lease companies, gap protection is included at no extra charge.
